We first implemented APS software in May/June 2002 from memory.
We have approximately 50 users.
We currently use Practice Management, Practice IQ, Tax Management and Interwoven Document Management.
We were previously with Solution 6, for about 15 years.
We formed criteria to assess what was out in the market and a formed a team to assess the software against our criteria. The team concluded that APS was the best product available at the time.
Both our IT staff and the whole firm have formed strong relationships with APS. The APS consultants have been very supportive in helping us set up an internal user group so that we could effectively deal with issues, this seems to be working as the group seem to be meeting on a less regular basis.. We have also found the external user group very helpful and have been happy to have some of the meetings at our office.

The most important factors from a product perspective to our firm were:
- Up to date platform (we were using Sol6 which was so old!!)
- User friendly (windows based)
- Easy to update
- Good support
- Tasks on screen (not printing out too much paper)
APS software is efficient, stable and user friendly. The team are friendly and available to answer queries when needed, they are very supportive and happy to meet on a regular basis to ensure matters are rectified quickly and efficiently. Overall we are very pleased with the software and our relationship with APS.
