Phone systems and calling plans are a key expense for any firm. The Call Accounting Manager helps you capture and recover more telephone costs from PABX, VoIP switches, mobile/cell phone carriers and Blackberries.

The system has various deployment options. The first option allows users to enter account codes into the telephone handset directly for each call made.  To streamline access and improve productivity, the call accounting and exception manager modules can be used in combination with one another so that only calls above a certain threshold need to be captured.  Your team can receive daily emails highlighting calls that exceed management-defined thresholds that require attention. By selecting an embedded link within the email, users can quickly assign appropriate client codes to the call exception.  The system will also suggest client matter codes for telephone numbers used previously.

Product Modules

Call Capture
The system captures all data available on the call including but not limited to telephone extension, date, time, duration, and the number called. Account code entry is supported through the handset.

Configuration
Users can have multiple extensions assigned - even if the extensions are in different offices.
The system is customisable to deal with interoffice tie-line calls. Phone charges are calculated using tariffs appropriate to the carrier.
Flexible charge options allow mark-ups and discounts that vary by office, department, and client.

Reporting
Reporting tools enable administrators to view chargeable activity, and potential phone abuse.

Data Capture
Different sizes of call-capacity buffers are available for different size organisations to collect data from the PBX. Acting as a backup to protect against a hard disk failure.

For multi-site implementations, the system supports imports from different types of PABXs and tariff table processing for different locations.

Cost recovery for conference rooms via the use of personal PINS or by having all conference room exceptions sent to a central or selected resource.

Mobile phones
Call data can be imported from mobile phone carriers for corporate accounts. Data is captured electronically on a monthly or more frequent basis and processed as an exception so that an account code can be assigned.
