Alongside the New Zealand conference in early November, APS held its annual UK Client Conference in mid November. We saw a fantastic turnout with more than 73 clients attending and, for the third consecutive year we returned to the beautiful surroundings of Whittlebury Hall in Towcester, Northamptonshire.
The MC role, played by Peter Kemsley, was very professionally handled as he kept the conference running to schedule, while Brian Armstrong made the long trip over to the UK to provide a clear insight into APS at a global level.
David Smith, Chief Executive of Global Futures & Foresight gave a passionate, stimulating and thought provoking vision of the future from his perspective. As in previous years our workshop sessions were professionally supported by the APS team – and special thanks must go to Fiona Armstrong who travelled from Australia to deliver her session on ‘workflow and resource planning’. All sessions were well attended, with excellent participation from clients adding considerable value to the workshops for all.
We had a lively Thursday night dinner that for some went onto the early hours of Friday morning. The black tie event provided a great opportunity for people to network and mingle with the APS team and other firms.
