PM Version 9.1 – Beta Release April 2008 / General Release July 2008

Fees
The version 9.1 release of Fees sees the final major pieces of the Fees rewrite completed and ready for use. The most significant of these is the Invoice Grid and the new formatting features it now provides for Fee preparers. There is standard Write Off Reasons functionality that is customisable to your needs and new allocation functionality that provides more flexibility when billing without WIP.

New Consoles
The new look Central Console brings the client centric consoles (Client, Matter) together in one place and provides new display features like multiple custom layouts to enhance how you view your data.

Addresses
We have extended the address format to have 8 fields of detail and have included some new editing features making it easier to standardise the regional address formats.

Workflow / Budgets
We have put significant effort into improving our Workflow offering with the first wave of these changes coming out in 9.1. Along with some editing enhancements in the milestone page and the personal to do page we will be releasing our new Budgets software. This replaces our current staff budgeting software giving you more flexibility with your budgeting process and providing a starting point for our upcoming capacity functionality.

Top logger requests
We have answered your enhancement requests and made over 100 changes to many aspects of the practice management software.

Advance Document Management (ADM)
ADM is our new integrated Document and Email Management Tool. New features allow you to better manage outgoing emails, profile documents for storage and search based retrieval, full text searching ability and general improvements in the visual presentation and use of your firm’s content. AdvanceDocs 2.0 will also ship with this version featuring a richer ‘Save Into Advance’ function.
