Qualifications / Background:
Started life as an accountant and then moved into Sales and Sales management. Previously, I was the owner and Managing Director of Solution 6 in South Africa, joint Managing Director of Solution 6 in Europe and General Manager of International Operations Solution 6 Australia.

What attracted you to APS?
We had become disillusioned with what was going on at our previous employer at that time and felt there must be a better way. We wanted to grow a business based on our values of being open and honest, caring and passionate about what we do. We believed the client experience should be a positive and enjoyable one and that working together would achieve a mutually beneficial outcome. We found our new partners at APS in New Zealand had the same values and client focus.
What does your job involve?
Initially my focus was on business development and growing the business through the acquisition of new clients. Now, my main focus is to provide leadership and clear direction for the business, to manage the culture and energy in the business and to ensure the successful execution of our strategy and business objectives. Increasingly my role is to provide more coaching and mentoring, with less hands on involvement.
What are some of the things you look forward to accomplishing while working at APS?
To provide whatever support and assistance I can to help in the development and growth of the team at APS. To see the business continue to grow with a good commercial and cultural balance and deliver the exciting range of new and innovative products to the market.
Career high (so far!) – Biggest achievement
Starting APS Australia and UK with Brian Coventry, Fiona Armstrong and Philippe Benoliel and seeing APS evolve and grow into such a strong and successful company, both culturally and commercially, along with a great team and a really good client base.
