How long have you worked at APS? 10 years
What attracted you to APS? We probably wouldn’t be here today if we weren’t pushed. Back in 1998 it was clear that a fresh start and approach was needed for the market we had worked with for over a decade. When we met APS in New Zealand it was the cultural dimension of the organisation that stood out for me, together with the realisation of what a small team with talent, passion and commitment could achieve.
What does your job involve? Going forward my role will involve coaching and mentoring our APS team in how to apply the business frameworks we have adopted and continue to adopt. This is going to be very important as we continue to expand out business and grow our UK team.
What are some of the things you look forward to accomplishing while working at APS? When we started the APS UK and Australian journey in 1998 one of our desires was to build a business that was renowned internationally for its products and the relationships it had with it clients. 10 years down the line I’m proud that we’ve achieved this and I’m also really proud of the great team of people we employ.
Career high (so far!) – Biggest achievement There have been so many achievements it’s hard to pick one. What I would say though is that all of them involve winking at those who said we would fail!! ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Best advice We all have choices to make. With the key ones test them by asking the question – will I be thinking ‘what if’ in 10 years time if I don’t make this choice? If the answer is yes then make that choice. |
