9.1 version of XPA is due for release this year and leverages off advancements in Practice Management's Central Console to deliver tighter integration to APS users. XPA v9.1 is also the platform that will enable Workpaper Management (new module) to link electronic documents, such as workpapers, to account codes in the general ledger.
A list of XPA ledgers can be accessed via a new 'band' at the bottom left of the Central Console called "XPA Ledgers". New ledgers can be added from this area, pulling through relevant client information from the database. Existing ledgers can also be linked and opened from here.
The Trial Balance and other internal reports can be run from the Central Console. Access to Xcede Jobstreams will provide further efficiency, enabling quick generation of the client's financial statements.

This new module provides a framework for managing accounting projects, such as completing annual accounts, with multiple work items (steps). Electronic documents, such as scanned bank statements and workpapers, can be attached to individual work items and linked to account codes in the General Ledger. Staff are able to access these electronic documents through the Trial Balance (as shown in the previous screen).

Projects are made up of individual work items and/or work item templates selected from a master list. Workpapers and other electronic documents, such as template help files, can be linked to work items at a master level. These documents and links will automatically be pulled through to the project with the work item.
