I am very pleased to welcome you to the launch issue of 'Connections', APS's new quarterly e-newsletter for clients and prospective clients. 'Connections' replaces the long-running Advancements which we have been producing in a number of styles since 2001.
So why the change? Well, importantly, in itself the name 'Connections' much better reflects the kind of organisation we are. We've said before that our whole business philosophy is based on developing close relationships with our clients and contacts; with Advancements, circulation tended to be largely restricted to our direct contacts in firms. As we introduce 'Connections' we have a clear aim to take our message to Advance suite users within firms – we want to develop a link with them too, ensuring there is a broader overall relationship, a better connection.
So, we encourage you to forward articles to fellow team members you feel may benefit from a window on APS thinking and APS developments – it might be some detail on a featured product, our regular 'tips and tricks' item or something else besides. Either way, your team members can now easily subscribe to receive their own copy of 'Connections'.
